The number of credits being offered will be available once the agenda is finalized.

AHLA is in the process of applying for Continuing Education Credits for the Virtual Program. Participants will be able to receive credits for the live virtual event and/or sessions watched on demand. Participants must fill out a Request Form and be completed when your live and/or on demand sessions are COMPLETE. Participants must fill in the requested information, esign, and submit in order to receive credit.

Participants MUST:

  • Indicate each session attended and the number of minutes attended. If the full session was attended, please put in the maximum number of minutes available (number only). You will receive credit based on the actual amount of time in each session. If you do not indicate the amount of time, you will not receive credit.
  • Fill in the correct Attendance Verification Code for each session you are requesting credits for. The codes will be randomly shown during each session. Participants will need to write the code to fill in on the request form. We will also be tracking sign on and sign off times of participants for each session – live or on demand.

This program is designed to be an update on developments in the area of fraud and abuse and compliance. There are no prerequisites or advanced preparations required to register for this group live program. Those seeking accounting credits should be familiar with the basic concepts of law and terminology associated with this area in order to obtain the full educational benefit of this program. Introductory remarks, breaks, luncheons, and receptions are not included in the computation of credit hours. Participants will be given continuing education request forms at the program. A Request Form must be submitted to receive credit. The sessions, unless otherwise designated, are intermediate to advanced in level. There are no prerequisites required to register for this program.

COVID-19 State Exceptions on Distance Learning and Virtual Online Programming

Many states are allowing additional distance learning/virtual credits in lieu of in-person because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have applied for CLE's in every state for the virtual program and the on demand sessions. We recommend checking with your states for more specific information, but we have pulled together information on which states are adapting current policies on Distance Learning and Virtual Online Programming
