AHLA has been actively monitoring reports from the CDC, the WHO, and other organizations related to COVID-19. In response to recent developments, AHLA has made the difficult decision to NOT hold our upcoming Institute for Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues on March 25-27 in Baltimore. It has become clear over the last few days that we could not deliver the exceptional content and experience our attendees and partners deserve under these circumstances. Additionally, we have been contacted by many of our attendees who have expressed concerns and relayed organizational travel restrictions. Although this was a difficult decision, we believe this is the best course of action to protect the health and safety of our community at this time.
What happens next? We will be following up with you over the next several days as we process refunds. Please note, we have alerted the hotel of the cancellation, however, individuals are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and plane reservations. If you have questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact Anne Hoover.
We know that the work our attendees do to advise and support the health care industry is critical during this time and we hope that you will continue to rely on AHLA resources. We encourage you to access the information and materials that we have posted on our Health Law Hub page focused on COVID-19. And, we are actively determining how best to deliver the exceptional content that was planned for this program through other means.
